Honestly the absence of built in terminal sucks big time! Npp_Exec plugin is super clumsy and not adequate. I need to learn C and I have switched to VScode just because it detects already installed TDM gcc and the only plugin I had to install was code runner. If this feature is added as a default, popularity of npp will again grow for sure.
