      REQUEST FOR HELP -> Forgot to Save - Lost critical Data after Windows Laptop Restart

      Please suggest any way to recover the lost the unsaved text on the files.

        You might look into Recuva software or other disk recovery software.

        Unfortunately, while Notepad++ will try to help you keep copies of “unsaved” files in the “backup” directory (as defined in the settings), it cannot guarantee that a crash in the operating system will not mess up its attempts to save your data for you. In the future, I highly recommend saving your files after critical changes (or as often as possible), and having a backup system in place so that you won’t lose too much critical data.

          If you tried to default the recovery function from the proxmox? If you are searching for good backup options, you can try to download the CCleaner first, clean the registry, and set the backup point.
