Textfile too big - how can I load anyway?

    Hi together!
    I have got verious textfiles , which are too big to load into notepad++.
    What can i do in notepad++ ? or in CMD?

      @Thomas-Bastian ,

      How big are they? And which version (version number and bits – sharing ?-menu Debug Info will tell us this)? Because the 64-bit Notepad++ can handle >1GB files.

      The biggest downside to super-huge files is that if you have the syntax highlighter turned on, it will be slooooooooooow. But if you rename the file to .txt so that it doesn’t trigger any of the syntax highlighter, it should be able to loaded into Notepad++.

        @Thomas-Bastian ,

        Also, I was just reminded there is a “Big Files Plugin” which allows for quick paging in huge files. That may be of some use to you as well.
