i am a newbie to NotePad++ but found it after researching a problem I have. A certain program I use is hard wired to save data with double quotes surrounding the info on a new line of a text document. There is no way to bypass it and I have to use an external solution to correct it. As the title says. is there a way to do this automatically whenever a new entry/line is added ? To complicate it further , there ARE double quotes at the beginning of the very first line and at the end of the last line of the list and they must remain there always. They are there so that it tricks the program into thinking that the info is all one cell. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated :)

    Thanks in advance !

I started thinking about replying but there are a lot of uncertainties. For the best help you should read and follow THIS before someone attempts to help you.
