      Hola, estaba escribiendo en un documento de libre office y al guardar lo guarde en formato texto, siendo la otra opcion odt. Ahora no encuentro el documento, si alguien supiera como resolverlo lo agradecería.

        This translates to:
        Hello, I was writing in a free office document and when saving I saved it in text format, the other option being odt. Now I can’t find the document, if someone knew how to solve it I would appreciate it

        The format odt refers to the OpenOffice Writer format, so it is not likely you used Notepad++ at any step. Therefore your question has been asked in the wrong forum.

        In saying that, generally when using a word processing application, opening the application, then looking through the menus you should find a list of “recently opened” files. The one you seek should be amongst those. If you are lucky it may even show you the location, however if just the file then open the file, then do a “save as”. At that point it might open the folder where the file currently is.

        We’d appreciate if you should post any further in this forum that you use a translate service such as Google Translate and post in English.

        To read my reply you should load my reply into Google translate and you will be able to read it. Translated into Spanish below:

          Libre Office tiene un menu donde memoriza los últimos archivos utilizados, independientemente del formato. Si no aparece allí, lo único que queda es probar con el método de la fuerza bruta: buscar en todo el disco todos los archivos con la extensión .txt, y ordenarlos por horario de escritura.

            @nippurdelagash ,

            Please write in English to this forum. This is the second time you have been asked.

            Notepad++ keeps track of the most recent files edited in Notepad++, either in the File menu or in the File > Recent Files… submenu, depending on the Settings > Preferences > Recent Files History settings (as documented in the user manual).

            If you don’t know where you keep your own files, then you can use a Windows OS-based search for filename across your whole filesystem, or you can use Notepad++'s built-in Search > Find in Files dialog to look for particular text in files that have a particular extension. And, in the future, I would recommend organizing your filesystem in a manner that allows you to know where your own files are – because where on the disk that you store your files is, in the end, up to you.
