ElasticTabstops 1.3.1 Triggers Virus Alert in Notepad++ 8.3 64-bit

ElasticTabstops 1.3.1 is triggering our corporate malicious software blocking tool: “Security Operations Center received an alert in CrowdStrike”. I had been using it successfully in an older 32-bit version of Notepad++ without problems.
I really like the plugin since I deal with lots of tab-delimited text files like logs, etc.
I’m running Notepad++ v8.3 64-bit on Windows 10.

I’m the developer of the plugin. Unfortunately there isn’t anything I can do. Our corporate security also uses some flavor of CrowdStrike as well. I’m on Notepad++ 18.104.22.168 (64 bit) and I don’t plan on using 8.3 due to the various issues it is causing. I don’t have any issues, though I’m sure each deployment of CrowdStrike is different.
