The method to use auto-complete has changed. See here for the developers fixes made in 8.2.1, specifically #3.
Also read here.There was a change made so unless you were aware of it, the issue you saw is the result. You need to re-enable that in the Preferences setting.

Note I have replied in my native tongue, the one that we ask posters to use. You will need to translate my response, as I did in order to understand your issue. Also this is not a plugin development issue, this is a function within Notepad++. You would have been better to post in the "help Wanted"section.
