Macbook Laptop Not working with notepad++

Hello Notepad++ team .
Currently, I am using a MacBook m1 laptop. But when I try to download it after installation the error is showing not compatible with this application with your laptop. My question is can I work with notepad++ software in mac m1. -

Notepad++ is a Windows application. It has no native MacOS version. There may be a mac-equivalent of Linux’s WINE environment which allows you run Windows software on a Mac (as discussed in another topic, possibly WineHQ or WineBottler), but such environments are not native Windows environments, and the Notepad++ developers do not guarantee that Notepad++ works in such an environment nor support Notepad++ in such an environment.
