How to enable syntax error

Hi, in previous versions, when I saved a project it said to me: syntax error.
<players>1-2</players>
/game>( correct: </game>)
it told me that at number xxx in that line there was an error or something was missing, but now “save” without telling me the error, do you know how I can restore it? thank you

I assume you mean the auto check feature of the xml plugin.
Make sure it is enabled.
