Predatory ads on download page.

Just a quick heads up. Notepad++ is one of my absolute favorite applications, and I mean no disrespect to it nor to Don H for his excellent work. However, when you go to download the application, you are presented with the attached screen. The “Download” button isn’t even on the first screen.
Use caution, as whoever “Total Security For Chrome” is, their ads are misleading, and I strongly suspect their download is malware (otherwise, they wouldn’t resort to deceptive practices).
I know this is not likely even related to Don and probably something his hosting provider is doing. But I’d hate trying to download something as awesome as Notepad++ causing disappointment, or even damage, to the users.

Yes. I’ve pointed this out before, myself.
I think the predatory ads key on the real word “download” on the site, and do their “dirty work” because of that.
It is often a sad world we live in. :-)
