Folding AHK not responding correctly

I just can’t seem to figure out folding. I have imported the popular UDL for AHK but my folding isn’t responding.
The folding buttons look correct, but when I press the top one, for example, it does this and nothing folds.
The UDL just has start as { and end as } with no middle.

Folding is the weak part of UDL.
Sometimes it helps if you add an extra space after{.
If this does not help, are you willing to share your current UDL and an example AHK script where this happens?
