      Well, I’ve looked and can’t find what I need!

      I don’t use the program often, but I do love it for text editing and this problem arises when printing, using a common laser printer: any line that has been edited gets a little crimson bar on the left side of the screen, that’s fine, but when I print then entire line is printed with a background of grey that makes it impossible to read the text!

      I can’t see this onscreen, and can’t find an appropriate setting to turn off any highlighting function. Can anyone help?

      Thanks, Jon

          @Terry-R

          Unbelievably fast response! I think that must be it, and at least I am not going crazy, as it seems to be a recent addition to the program. My coding days are long-gone, so it is not necessary to me. Thanks again for spot-on, x-fast help! ~ Jon
