Community Forum Search Results

Is it possible to sort the results of a Search in this Community Forum by date? It’s not uncommon to have results that are dated several years ago as first in the list, and then having to hunt through many results to find the most recent. Thanks.

In general, the forum search function leaves a lot to be desired!
Frankly, I’m ecstatic when it gives me anything close to what I’m seeking.

We here, and N++ personnel as well, don’t control the forum software, in case you have a follow-up posting concerning changes to it.

Yes. I use it virtually every time I search here.

It tries to remember that setting (I think via a cookie on each browser), but it will occasionally clear itself, so if the search results aren’t sorted, I go back to Advanced Search and Sort By Post Time again, but I often don’t have to change it.
