GBK is another Chinese (Simplified) encoding, and it’s useful for us. That’s not about your political views! Microsoft Visual Studio supports it! We need it!

Not sure what that is, but probably no new encoding support will be added to Notepad++ moving forward; the world is unicode, for good or bad.
