How to get specific position in Notepad++

I want to find the Description and Data element in Notepad++.
For example:
In the line

Y1********DP~
N9*FN*12345~
N9*SI*56789~

if I put my cursor on “DP”, I want the result to show as Y1e08

Result of which action? And where does e08 come from?
And what does it mean in this context?
