Pinpoint what I did and want to see on a taskbar
-
Hi I am using notepad++ and I do love to use it.
But I am just wondering whether I can see a taskbar which is able to see what I already saved. If not I want you to change it if you agree.Thank you.

@Su-Kim ,
From what I’ve understood, you have Notepad++ pinned to your taskbar, and when you right-click on the Notepad++ taskbar icon, you want to be able to see the “Jump List” of recent files that have been opened in Notepad++.
That does happen for me.

As far as I know, that’s a feature of Windows, and you don’t have to set up anything special in Notepad++ to get that to work. A quick search finds a MS page on how to re-enable jump lists.

If that’s not working, I don’t know what’s different between your system and my system… But there is a plugin available in Plugins Admin which enables “Jump List” behavior in Windows 7 (though, as a reminder, Notepad++ no longer officially supports Win7 ) – I don’t need that plugin in able to get Jump List to work in Windows 10, but maybe the plugin will help you.
