@PeterJones I’m not sure im understanding, is there a way to fix it or do I need another program or is the code just written like that, I literally just want to edit a minecraft mod. please explain more.

The file you showed is not a text file. Notepad++ is a text editor. Notepad++ is not designed to edit the binary files like the minecraft mod you showed. Sorry.
