notepad ++ v8.4.8 exception error when trying to connect NppFTP

i am getting error below when trying to connect to NppFTP:

“An exception occured. Notepad __ cannot recover and must be shut down”
Code: 0xC00000005
Type: Access Violation
Exception Addres: 0x0000000006e5ea942

If it’s not an incompatibility issue (check the Plugins Admin), check with the author at his github page, since this is a plugin.
