Hello.
Every time I opened Notepad++ and want to open existing file, the Open window is selected in the installation folder of Notepad++ (C:\Program Files\Notepad++). If I close Notepad++, and opened it again, I have to go to the same process again.
Is there any setting that I can choose ‘last opened folder’ or hardcode ‘always first folder to open / save’ or something else because, this is so frustrated? I never save my files in the installation folder, I never open any files from the installation folder.

Ah yes, I seem to remember that behavior; it IS a bit annoying; but it is documented in the user MANUAL.

If you edit the properties of the shortcut you use to start Notepad++ and change “Start in:” to the folder you want, File|Open… will use that folder as default until another is established.
