      At one point (earlier this year, at latest) the “Edit with Notepad++” option in the right-click menu used N as a shortcut. This no longer happens; it has no associated shortkey now. I don’t know if this is a N++ issue or a Windows issue. Is there a way to get this back? Otherwise when selecting with keyboard I have to down arrow multiple times.

      My debug info:
      Notepad++ v8.5.4 (64-bit)
      Build time : Jun 17 2023 - 20:42:45
      Path : D:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe
      Admin mode : OFF
      Local Conf mode : OFF
      Cloud Config : OFF
      OS Name : Windows 10 Home (64-bit)
      OS Version : 22H2
      OS Build : 19045.3086
      Current ANSI codepage : 1252
      Plugins :
      NppExport (0.4)
      PreviewHTML (1.3.2)

      I most recently updated N++ today; prior to that my latest version was 8.3 and the option wasn’t available with that either. I don’t recall when it disappeared.

      I’m not getting the shortkey option on my Win11 laptop, either, but I’ve only had that a month and don’t know if it was ever an option with 11.

        @Max-Stone ,

        FYI: It’s usually called an “accelerator” not a “keyboard shortcut” when it’s used for picking an entry out of a menu.

        With Win11 actively fighting against applications putting their actions in the main right-click context menu, I don’t know whether there’s any way anymore for an application to define its preferred accelerator key for the context menu, sorry.

          @PeterJones Alright, thank you for the reply; and the FYI, that’s good to know.
