      Hi friends,

      Since few days, I get near from always, this message, with files hosted on a Debian 11 server with Samba shares.

      Steps :
      Load a file and make a modification
      Save the file
      Focus on another app
      Focus back to Notepad++

      The message appears and ask if I want to reload the file.

      Several times, I also get it without doing any modification.

      Uninstalled NP++ and discarded preferences, reinstalled the last version (8.5.5), and the problem still there.

      My server and my computer has the samed date and time.

      I don’t know where to search to kick this problem, this makes me really crazy :(

      If someone has an idea :)

      Thanks !

      Couin

        The modtime synchronization issue has come up so often that a logging mechanism was added in version 8.1.9.3 (not a typo; it was released as “revision number 3”).

        Looks like the original commit message is still the only documentation on how to configure the nppLogNetworkDriveIssue.xml file, but that’s where I would start.

          still the only documentation

          Sorry, I didn’t know about that flag-file.

          I just created an issue and will add the notes from that commit message to the User Manual, so it will be described in the next release of the Online User Manual.
