      After the recent update, the popup menu item “Mit Notepad++ bearbeiten” lost the underlined N-Letter. This slows down my work flow.

      I tried to look up the command in the registry, no success.

      I’m running windows 10.

      Any hint, how I could get back my shortcut?

      Thanks in advance.

        @cschardt ,

        The &N hotkey in the right-click context menu is defined by the NppShell.dll in the <installDir>/contextMenu/ folderfor the right-click context menu. That hotkey was missing from the right-click menu on starting somewhere between v8.5.1 and v8.5.3, and going through v8.5.5. It was fixed, and should be back in the right-click context menu when you install v8.5.6 (which is now available when you use ?-menu’s Update Notepad++) – you might have to reboot or at least log out then log back in after doing the update before the right-click context menu is updated.
