      Hi @Admin
      I created a question:

      -----------link unable-------------
      I can’t “reply”… I can’t “quote”. Nothing!!! because I receive this message in title so. how can this be fixed? Where is the “reputation” issue in this community?

      I don’t have links, I’m just writing words

      TY in advance
      (google translate)

        @Theodore-Spittnikov ,

        When you hit Quote to quote the text in your reply, it says @someone said in [Discussion Name Here](/post/#####): . You could just delete that portion, and it will let you post, because that’s a link (to the previous post). But I’ve upvoted both your posts, so you now have +2 reputation, so you’ll be able to Quote or Reply without difficulty.

        I recently put in a feature request with NodeBB to fix the forum software so that even 0 reputation posters can still use the Quote/Reply feature of the forum (by always allowing links that are to the forum), and they are working on it. Until then, the recommendation is for new users to do posts that are well-presented, which generally earns them an upvote (and thus positive reputation) so that they’ll be able to more-easily reply.

            No you don’t. You just clicked “quote” to reply, and it posted successfully.

            The issue described above (that the forum wouldn’t let you “quote” a reply if you have 0 reputation, because the @-mention and link-to-previous-post) was fixed when we upgraded forum software a few months ago. It is obviously fixed and working for you, because your post includes both the @-mention and the link-to-previous-post.

            If you have 0 reputation, you are still not able to link to external sites, to prevent spambots and other manual spammers. But other than that, 0 reputation can still post and reply without difficulty.
