After Update to 8.6.2 it takes 2 sec. to load any file

independent of size.
Win 10, I5 on Dell Lattitude 7280, 16 GB Ram, sd-Card-slot, no energy-safe, all drivers up to date.
Any ideas? -

Do you have any plugins installed? Because this feels like a plugin issue. In any case, I can’t replicate this on my 8.6.2 installation. -

All Plugins (Compare, Mime, NPPExec) de-installed (didn’t use them anyway, dont need them)- Same as before
Shutdown and Restart - Same as before
Moved to “C:” - Worse
Close all App’s incl MySql and Apache step by step, try Open File
Found: HeidiSQL:
Close heidiSQL, Open File: ok
Start heidiSQL: Open File: 3 secFunny: Open from Explorer or 7z via DoubleClick works fast like a charm, wether heidiSQL is running or not.

From what Notepad++ version you have upgraded to the v8.6.2?
Can you go few versions back to where the error does not show up like that? This could help us to determine a specific change in the N++ code causing this problem. Try with portable versions from the N++ repository.

Start heidiSQL: Open File: 3 secMaybe you could also ask here if there is not a possible file IO conflict in between the N++ and heidiSQL.
