Black line highlight background after use of compare plugin
-
After using the Compare plugin (contributed by jsleroy) the line highlight background color becomes black, so you can’t read anything anymore on the line at cursor position. In my point of view it might be a bug in NPP, not in the Compare plugin. The line highlight background should never be set black when the text color is black (unreadable text if same color). I also use the CSVlint plugin (contributed by BdR76) which has a very elegant and intelligent line highlight background coloring for CSV column coloring. It might therefore also be a conflict between NPP, Compare and CSVlint. Please help me out!

have you considered using the newer ComparePlus version from Pavel?

You need to turn off CSV Lint’s transparent cursor option, or the problem will keep coming back:
