Windows ten activation mishap

I used a different version to get windows ten,got the don’t have a dns server configured for local system error message, and can’t activate it. I tried to use note pad to fix the dns problem but it wouldn’t work. I did the guide that
manageengine DOT comused. Anyway to activate windows ten without a dns server configured or to fix the dns thing to activate windows ten?-–
