Selection Offset

Click on a line of text, and the whole line is highlighted -OK
Select an area with the mouse, and the selection is highlighted in another color - OK
Drag the selected area with the mouse, and the single line highlight moves to a few lines above the mouse -SEEMS STRANGE
On Mouse-Up the selected area is moved to the single line highlight position, and not the mouse position - FAIL
This does not happed on my laptop, but does occur on a monitor connected to my laptop.

Since it behaves differently depending on monitor, I wonder if this is another symptom of Notepad++'s need for more improvement in High-DPI support.
If you right click on your Windows desktop, and look at the Scale and Layout, what is the Scale and Resolution for each monitor (the builtin and the external) – if one has 100% and the other does not, then there’s a good chance that the culprit really is high-DPI.
if so, understand that there have been some contributors working diligently on improving the high-DPI experience, but there are still a lot of items still needed before they can call it “done”.
