anyone seen the latest announcement of free google code assist for all?

There’s already the NppOpenAI plugin, which can be configured for various AI engines – (not just OpenAI, despite the name, as evidenced by the DeepSeek configuration shown in a recent post. It might be as simple as a new config entry to make that plugin work with the Code Assist. If not, you might post in that other discussion, and see if the plugin author has plans to make it compatible.
