Unable to drag and open files

Hi,

Recently I noticed that I’m unable to drag any file and open it in Notepad++. How can I get that option back in it ? I found it really useful but if its not there I manually have to open the files :'(.

Guys please help how can I get this option back in Notepad++ ??

You are probably running N++ as administrator. See if the title bar says “[Administrator]”.

@jonandr yes, it says admin… how do I change it ? it, by default. opens in admin mode… :-/

@Aar-Né Find notepad++.exe (probably in C:\Program Files (x86)\Notepad++), right click, select Properties, find “Always run as admin” and unclick it. That’s the likely solution.
