Unable To Save To OneDrive Folder
-
Hi all.
All of a sudden, I can’t save files that are in OneDrive folders. I get the "Failed to save file. It seems there is not enough space on the disk to save the file. " error although I am only using 7% of my space on OneDrive and I have 150GB free space on my hard drive…
This is a new issue that started today. I have scanned for errors but none reported. I have made sure to “run as admin” and have rebooted.
Anything I have missed?

You imply it, I guess, but can you save files to non OneDrive locations?
Can you use Windows Notepad.exe and save to a OneDrive location?
Maybe these are simple things, but how are we to know what all you’ve tried…

I have made sure to “run as admin”
For mapped network drives, if you “run as admin”, you cannot access them, because Windows stores credentials for such drives based on the user. It might be the same with OneDrive – since it’s your standard user, not your admin elevation, that has permission/credentials for OneDrive, using “run as admin” could very-well be the culprit. Try without “run as admin”.

Interesting. I read the original post as a user who could not save in non-admin mode who then tried going to admin to try to get the save accomplished. I guess we won’t know unless he comes back to say more…
