when running Notepad++ 8.9.6.1 i get the following error message.

this may indicate a misconfiguration or tamperingProceed anyway

my fix was to reloaded Notepad++ 8.9.6 No error message
is there a work around for Notepad++ 8.9.6.1 ?
or is it a bug ? -
That is the effect of one of the “security fixes” that prompted v8.9.6.1’s existence.
