Why do Notepad++ keep the "Move to recycle bin" delete prompt?

I mean, it literally says “Move to recycle bin”, not “Delete forever”.
Windows removed it’s prompt when deleting files starting with Windows 10.
What is the reason Notepad++ still keeps these prompts? -

I’m not sure what you’re saying here, as I still only use Windows 10, and it does indeed prompt if you want to “Move to recycle bin? Yes|No”, so I don’t know where you get this information. -
Microsoft didn’t remove the prompt, but made it configurable, so you can decide if you want to keep it or not.
Configuration can be found for example with right click --> properties on the recycle bin icon.
