What's with Drag-and-Drop, or lack thereof?

How come, on Win7-64, latest version of N++, and for a long time, I can’t drag-and-drop files into the window? It acts like it’s going to, I get the circle with the arrow when I’m not in the right spot, and I get a cursor with the little “+” when I am, but it does not open file types it knows!

Are you running the program as administrator? Look for the word “[Administrator]” in the title bar.
