        Faulting Application Name: notepad++.exe, Version: 8.8.7.0, Timestamp: 0x68f18314

        Faulting Application Path: C:\Program Files\Notepad++\notepad++.exe
        Faulting Module Path: C:\WINDOWS\System32\USER32.dll

        Exception Code: 0xc000041d is a common NTSTATUS meaning “An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback”. I can’t say what exactly is the problem only from the info above, but 1st I’d try to reproduce this problem with a freshly downloaded and unzipped portable arm64 v8.8.7 version (the portable version test eliminates possible N++ misconfiguration possibilities and also any external plugin problem).

        If the portable version shows the same problem, there is not much we can do with it from the N++ side. Since it was working fine before the Windows update, it’s most likely a Windows bug and you can try reporting it to Microsoft or simply wait for the next Windows update to fix it (if that is really an inherent Windows bug, they will know about it from the automatic Windows apps error report telemetry).
