NP process still active when closed

When I start NP++, it creates a process, but when I exit NP++ it stays there and is not removed. If I start another instance of NP++, I get another process start. I can continue and I could have many instances of NP++ process in memory.
If I have the document map showing, with many processes in memory still, I will see a faint outline of the document map showing on my desktop still, after NP++ closes, until I close all of the running processes.
I have the settings set as follows;
- I don’t have the auto update enabled
- Mono instance set
- Minimise to system tray is NOT set
I don’t remember it doing this before. Does anyone else have this problem?

There was an issue when using a DSpellVersion < 1.4.4,
could this be your issue as well? -

in my case remove NppMenuSearch plugin to fix it
where NppMenuSearch and jn notepad++ plugins booth installed -
DSpellCheck is at v1.4.13, and I haven’t got jN installed, so I checked the other one.
MenuSearch is the culprit. When I close NP, it disappears from the process tree as well. Sorted :)
