        @patrickdrd

        Haha, no I’m not sure. I didn’t notice the date on that page. Since that page had the new(est) look to it, I thought it had been recently migrated/updated. I guess it was just “carried over”. Sorry for any confusion I caused.

          @PeterJones said in new site rss?:

          google for NodeBB rss feeds

          I found this page, which says that recent.rss should be close to what you want. For us, it’s at https://community.notepad-plus-plus.org/recent.rss , or from the RSS icon on https://community.notepad-plus-plus.org/recent …

          it doesn’t have all posts for all of time… but “recent” is probably good enough (the default rss went back about a week, at least for me)

            https://notepad-plus-plus.org/recent.rss

            (for the main page)

              In my experience, static pages (like the main page) don’t usually have RSS feeds. RSS feeds are for things like blogs and forums.

              I guess I could see a reason for having a feed for something like the news or downloads page, so you can easily see when a new release is made… but I’m not aware of such a feed on the updated main page. Sorry.

                the previous version of the site had rss working

                anyway, the new site is having issues as well,
                I’ve got a couple of these recently:

                Error 520
                Web server is returning an unknown error

                  @patrickdrd ,

                  I recently went to the “resources” page, and found Resources#RSS of Notepad++ Site, which links to https://notepad-plus-plus.org/index.xml, which consists of an <rss...> element. It seems to have <item>s for each of the website updates and version releases, so I think it contains the RSS feed you were looking for.

                  This might be the feed you are looking for

                      @Ekopalypse ,

                      That one is the feed for this Forum topic, and this topic only. The one I showed two weeks ago was the “unread topics” feed for the whole Community Forum.

                      The one @patrickdrd wanted was an RSS feed for the main notepad-plus-plus.org website, which will show updates to the main site (so new pages, new-version announcements, and the like) – basically, the RSS-feed equivalent of the news page. I believe that’s what I found today.

                      Oh, and I now even see the RSS link (to the same page I linked above Master Kenobi) on the main https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ page…

                          If you read back through the conversation, I thought the same thing. It wasn’t until @patrickdrd 's penultimate post that I realized he meant the main site. :-)
