ComparePlugin crashes on Notepad++ 8.2.2 test builds

Hi @Michael-Vincent ,
OK, thanks for the heads-up, I will make a new fix release later this evening. -
It crashed on the ver 8.3.1
I switched back to 8.2.1 and the Compare is working again. -
Have you used the latest compare version? (2.0.2)
Seems to work for me. -
@ekopalypse
thanks.
I just upgraded it to 2.0.2 and it works. -
@pnedev Hi there,
ComparePlugin (x64) crashes on “NP++ 8.4.1 Minimal Portable”. I have no issue before that. Comparing 2 simple text files (list of 30 items) then crashes…
Any help?!

How about your full Debug Info from the ‘?’ menu?
Cheers.

@ten2120
Do you have the latest version of Compare Plugin from menu Plugins => Plugins Admin, Updates tab. You should be running 2.0.2 for Notepad++ > 8.3.
Cheers.

Yes. I have downloaded it from its Git page (The latest version 2.0.2 x64). You can check the video (link below). I have recorded the crash process!

In that case, you should open an issue on the issue page of the plugin. Provide as much detail as possible including the Notepad++ debug info you provided above and the plugin version you are using.
Cheers.
