        Sorry, this isn’t the correct forum to be asking for a “feature request”. Try reading this post in the FAQ section.

          Hello, @bernard and All,

          I’m very surprised that the Ctrl + Mouse Wheel does not work, in your configuration :-(

          Because this functionality has been always part of Notepad++ since the version 1.0 beta !!!

          Of course, you may use these shortcuts, as well, to achieve the same goal :

          • Zoom in Ctrl + Numpad + ( SCI_ZOOMIN )

          • Zoom out Ctrl + Numpad - ( SCI_ZOOMOUT )

          • Zoom out Ctrl + Numpad / ( SCI_SETZOOM )

          Best Regards,

          guy038

            Hi, @bernard and All,

            Ouuups ! Sorry, I misunderstood your request ! Seemingly, you would like that the Magnification factor appears in the status bar, isn’t it ?

            Or, maybe, temporarily, when you perform the Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Up/Down action ? (as the status bar already contains lot of notifications)

            If so, just follow the @terry-r advice !

            Cheers,

            guy038

              @Bernard ,

              Please see this older discussion, which links to issue#4566 – the developer does not believe there is room for a permanent zoom indicator on the status bar, so has rejected that request. There is no reason to believe he will have changed his mind.

              That said, the older discussion I linked has links to PythonScript implementations that may be of use to you. If you’ve never used PythonScript, this FAQ explains how to take one of those example scripts and implement it on your computer.
