Macros doesn't work on the newest version

hello, I just try to use some saved macros, on some txt documents, and doesn’t work with the newest version of notepad++. Also, I get the pop-up message, to install an older version.

And, By the way. Why can’t I modify the macro formulas directly from Menu -> Macros -> Modify ?

Do I necessarily have to access shortcuts.xml from c:\Users\XXX\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\ to modify there the regex formulas?

That is, there should be the possibility to more easily modify a direct the Macros from MENU.
