'Unwrapping' something

Hi,
I’m not sure what the terminology is, otherwise it might be a simple Google search away:I am trying to get a .json file to open like picture A; and it did, once, and I don’t know why or how.
Picture B is usually what it opens like. What button am I not pressing to get this format?
Thank you! Great program!!Picture A, what I want:

Notepad++ shows the JSON as it really is. If you want to change how the JSON is formatted, you will need to run some sort of tool – whether a plugin in Notepad++ , like the JSON Viewer plugin or JSON Tools plugin, or whether an external tool that you run on the file before opening it in Notepad++ – which edits the file to use compressed vs. one-per-line layout.

JsonTools is my plugin, and it does have pretty-printing of JSON, which would do what you want.
That said, JsonTools can’t currently edit files in the hard drive. For example, there’s no tool implemented at present that allows you to choose a bunch of JSON files and pretty-print them all in one go.
Would you like me to start working on that?
