Notepad ++ XML Plugin
-
I work for the pharmacovigilance industry and we use xml to pass case data to all the regulatory authorities in the world.
We have previously used Notepad ++ to do transforms without issue. However, when we attempted to do our transforms this week, they will not transform in Notepad++ but do in my XMLSpy software, with no issues.
Anyone know why files would not transform in Notepad++ but do in an xml editor software?

@Jana-Laster Please see FAQ: Request for Help without sufficient information to help you
I suspect it would work best if you could track down whoever set up the workflow you use to understand why it worked last week but not this week. It’s doubtful the cause was changes to Notepad++.
This forum’s focus is on the Notepad++ editor itself and to a lesser extent, the regular expression style search/replace that Notepad++ offers. We can’t help you with figuring out the overall workflow other than answering specific questions about the Notepad++ editor and how to do or fix search/replace things implemented by the editor.

I am assuming you were using a plugin to do these transformations. Which plugin, and which command within that plugin? Which version of Notepad++?
I suppose you could have been committing the unspeakable atrocity that is editing HTML with regex, but I don’t want to accuse you of such a grievous crime without evidence.
