      Hy
      I use Np++ 7.6
      I note a difference between when I digit indented charcaters normally and when I digit the same characters when recording a macro.

      If I begin to digit indented characters(say starting in the third column) and then press return, the cursor automatically goes to the indentation of the line above (i.e. the third column again)
      If I do this while I’m recording a macro, the cursor goes to the beginning of the new line and doesn’t keep the indentation. How can I record a macro keeping the indentation I want?

          thank you for your message
          I only want to say that thi problem is in the new version
          If you use the 5.8.6 version the problem to indent in macro doesn’t exist

          Thank you

            What is the point of saying this? Nobody is going to use such an old version.

                is it possible to repair it since the old versions worked?
                Thank you in advance

                    There wouldn’t be any news unless there is an open issue for it. See here: https://github.com/notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus/issues
