    TakeNotes.dll no longer works

      Since the last update to Notepad++ the TakeNotes plugin no longer works

      Currently, I have Notepad++ 7.6.6 (32-bit) and TakeNotes_dll_1v20_x32.zip

      The dll is in the plugins folder but does not show up in the Plugins Admin list or on the tool bar where is used to be.

        • please go to the notepad++ menu plugins > open plugins folder... to open your plugins folder in windows explorer.

        • create a new folder TakeNotes inside this plugin folder, and copy TakeNotes.dll (32 bit) into it.

        • restart notepad++ and the plugin will appear at the plugins menu.

          Change the location of the plugin
          Tested working … x32 and x64
          plugins\TakeNotes\TakeNotes.dll
