When both checkboxes "Match whole word only" and "Match case" are checked, "Find" does not find a word at the beginning of a line
-
Hi,
As stated in title, appearently a tiny bug in “Find”: when both checkboxes “Match whole word only” and “Match case” are checked, “Find” does not find a word at the beginning of a line.
Any idea on how to circumvent it?
TIA

Is the cursor at the very beginning of the file (on the first line)? -
Why don’t you provide a complete example of the manifestation of this? Show us the text that it fails on, and all your settings in the Find tab…

Yes.
Actually, issue appears to come from Windows shell (cmd.exe) inserting some kind of non breaking space instead of plain space into a log file of mine: maybe some room for an improvement to Notepad++?
Thanks for your help. -
