      how can I use a linebreak in the sectionn search and replace?

        Click extended in search mode
        and use
        \r\n if you want to have windows eol
        \n if you want to have linux eol
        \r for MAC eol

              multi line find/replace would be nice but I assume this won’t happen anytime soon.

                The ToolBucket plugin offers it, although this isn’t an endorsement as I really don’t use that feature myself! :-)

                  thx, was not aware that a plugin has solved this already.
                  But this one of the things I would like to see in npp itself, currently
                  I’m doing this via pythonscript.
