Suddenly npp doesn't appear on screen anymore
-
… well I know that my monitor is dead but hey, why can’t I see npp anymore? :-)
Ok, now it is a npp topic, isn’t it?
I need some suggestion which monitor I should buy as my main monitor is really broken and without monitor I hardly can use npp.
I’m looking for one 31.5" or 32" monitor with a resolution of 2K
aka 2560x1600. Any suggestion?? -

I hope we don’t lose you because of it. :-(If I were you, I’d go with two (or more) more-conventional monitors. Probably $100USD each.
I currently have 5 such monitors on my setup. :-)

but then I can provide valuable information when and how such strange “blurrying” happens. :-)

…@PeterJones wonders if everyone who asks a cookie baking question should be forced to send us all cookies… ;-)
That joke aside, I have no experience with cool monitors; all of mine are old-fashioned resolutions, so no recommendations here. Sorry.

Unfortunately my motherboard is only able to connect two screens.
My old setup was FullHD and 1280x1024.
Now only having 1280x1024 is … well … annoying, frustrating … ahhh -
Well, 2 is not bad either.
I would trade off a single big fancy one for 2 (ideally identical) smaller ones.
As far as 3+, I use USB dongles to achieve that; works so well I forget that’s how they connect.
We are baking some serious cookies now. -

But that is all to get npp up and running again :-D
I am still totally undecided. Let’s see what else the Black Friday week has to offer. If necessary waiting for Cyber-Monday offers too.
Thx so far.

Depending on how old your motherboard is and also whether it has DisplayPorts you may want to consider the “daisy chain” idea. See
https://www.displayport.org/cables/driving-multiple-displays-from-a-single-displayport-output/
Concept is that DP can send quite a bit of data down the ‘pipe’, more than 1 monitor needs, hence if your GPU can support DisplayPort 1.2 MST (multi-stream) then it may support 3 or even up to 6 monitors. And here are some of the best MST capable monitors
https://3dinsider.com/daisy-chaining-monitors/And no, I’ve not got shares in anything on those sites nor am I affiliated in anyway to them. Just suggesting another idea.
Cheers

Thx, I had to look this up but no, no DP port. Maybe it is time to invest
in a new system but … I’m a scrooge …
