Issue resolved using "SetUserFTA" utility

Re: Notepad ++ .txt association keeps reverting to Windows Notepad
So I found a handy utility that has resolved this for me.
The program is called “SetUserFTA”
By simply running “setuserfta .txt applications\notepad++.exe”, the problem is fixed.
