my .txt is in blank

hi! i need help, first my power off on my pc
i open again notepad++ and in my .txt say all: “NULL NULL NULL NULL”

now are in white page
i need help to recover this .txt

@alan-kilborn for error i press “encoding” i think i press conver to UFF-8 because first says “NULL NULL” In all text

Does C:\Program Files\Notepad++\nppLogNulContentCorruptionIssue.xml exist? (It should have been created when you installed v8.3.3, so it should, unless you deleted it.)

If so, did you get a nppLogNulContentCorruptionIssue.log created in %APPDATA%\Notepad++\ ? (On your machine, that path probably expands to c:\users\_user.name_\AppData\Roaming\Notepad++\nppLogNulContentCorruptionIssue.log)

If so, please post the contents of that log file here.

Hmm. Are you by chance using encryption, like Symmantec Desktop Encryption or similar? If so, this thread may be of interest.

Thanks for the info. I have pinged the Developer, @donho, in the v8.3.3 announcement and issues discussion so that he’ll know that there has been a NUL issue that wasn’t caught by the logfile that he instituted.
