how to make tab bar appear vertically in notepad ++
-
Hello,
Description of the IssuePreferences -> General -> Tab - Bar - Vertical
Will move the tabs to the left but the titles are Vertically named and is hard to read their titles.
Tabs should have the option to have the titles horizontally and stacked one under/over each other.
Steps to Reproduce the IssuePreferences General Tab Bar check VerticalExpected Behavior
Tabs to stacked and titles on horizontal
Actual BehaviorTabs titles are vertical and hard to read them
Debug InformationValid with NotePad++ 8.6

Try View / Document List plus in preferences you remove the tab bar.
Or, you can go with the sideways named vertical tab bar and hover the mouse on a tab and it will show the name horizontally.

Agreeing with @kahalahmawad , it would be ideal if there was an option for vertically listed tabs with horizontal orientation.
The Document List works but implementation of actual vertical tabs would work better.
