      Hi,

      I don’t know how, my Notepad++ interface has been broken (Windows 10).
      I only have problems with one user (using Administrator user, it works).
      I’ve deleted the whole %APPDATA%/Notepad++ and reinstall Notepad++ without luck.

      Click to show the broken interface

        To sum up, it’s a known issue, but as far as I know, the Developers haven’t been able to replicate. It might have something to do with the way that a recent Windows update interacts with video drivers – and as one user pointed out, the same thing happens to certain other apps, so it’s not just a Notepad++ issue.

        Often, users (especially those with nVidia graphics) can fix the problem by updating their video drivers (I suggest re-installing the drivers if you believe they are already up-to-date). Some have had success by removing particular Windows update patches, but not everyone is willing or able to undo Windows updates.

          Thanks a lot.

          Running CCleaner solved the problem.

            @Javier-Rios ,

            If you happen to come back: does CCleaner give a report of what registry and other items it cleans/deletes? That report might be able to tell us what entry is causing the problem in the first place.
